Our Story

Bobby Smelcer purchased the property in 1996 with the intention of someday turning it into an urban oasis. He saw the potential to reconnect people with the natural world in the midst of the concrete jungle.

We’re transforming an abandoned industrial site into a lush green space, adorned with cozy campsites. Camp Quarry Trails is a labor of love and is constantly growing and improving. We're thrilled to convert our space into a summer camp-inspired getaway one day at a time.
